Welcome to the Glenbard East High School Class of 1963 web site! We invite you to join us and help make this a comprehensive way to catch up on our classmates and to plan and document our 50-Year Reunion. Participation will always be free and your updates and other news will always be welcomed. Help us find our classmates we've not been able to locate and please share this web site with anyone from the class you are in contact with. Let's go!

Our 50-year reunion was held Friday and Saturday, Aug. 16-17. For photos, check out the Photo Gallery.

Friday: An informal gathering Friday night took place at Casey's Restaurant in Lombard.

Saturday:  The 10:00 am tour of the school was more interesting and way more fun than most of us had expected. We were wowed by many things, from the technology to, especially, the Mares Field House, where there are 3 basketball courts and a 6-laps-to-the-mile running track.

Dinner at Pheasant Run in St. Charles started at 6:00 pm for cocktails and conversation, and dinner at 7:00 pm. A photo of our group was taken right before dinner. 50s and 60s decorations and music made the scene, but most of us concentrated on catching up with folks we hadn't seen in up to 50 years. Skipp Knapp made some wonderful opening remarks about the importance of that time in our lives, and the important roles all of us played in each other's lives. People talked about the next reunion, either 5 years from now or maybe, even, for our collective 70th birthday in 2 years.

If you would like to share photos of the good old days with your classmates, email them to for posting to the site. You can also post them to your own profile page pretty easily. If you have any difficulties, email Mark. A key to the process is the icon in the upper left corner of the edit box, next to Source--it's the image icon. Click that to get started.
